Charging Your Worth

It can be hard for us to price our service for what we are actually worth. Hell, it can be hard for us to charge anything at all, especially when we are just starting! We have unhealed ego fear telling us we are not worthy, not worth it.

As a service to others business (versus service to self) we are doing business from the heart. We infuse our service or product with love and compassion, striving to act selflessly towards our customers, employees, and nature, knowing that we are part of the whole. This is a newer concept to the business world, we do not have a clear map or blueprint for this business model.

As business pioneers, we are out on the edge like Little House on the Prairie. At our low moments we may think of our services as nothing or not worthy. And we feel alone, by ourselves. We may hear the ego whisper “how can you charge for nothing?”😬

The unhealed ego would have you buy into the fear of lack, that someone does not have enough to pay you. This is the service to self model, the world in which there is not enough for everyone. This is our cultural programming, fear of lack.

The unhealed ego would have you buy into the fear of lack, that someone does not have enough to pay you.

As soon as we feel that fear, we can remember. We remember our path in step with Universe or Spirit. We remember that our answer to ego is service to others in the world of oneness, we are part of the whole. ACIM refers to this as “atonement” (at-one-ment). Phone a friend! Remind yourself that you are not alone by asking for support in your work.

A very wise person in my life has taught me that Spirit will find the money for people when they are meant to join us. In our hearts we know our path is that of Spirit.

You are charging for something of value in this world of oneness!
