Step Outside to Witness Abundance πŸ¦‹

Thankfully, the trees and plants do not run a credit check before they give oxygen to us. They give without deciding who deserves it or how much.😊

When we go outside with awareness and mindfulness, we can observe nature’s example of giving and receiving. Nature knows what to do - the participants know the dance of reciprocity.

One of my favorite trees is the pine tree (I love the smell of pine!). Some species of pine in the United States, like the lodgepole pine (Western U.S.), have pinecones that only open during a forest fire. The mature seeds can hang for years until the fire melts the resin encasing the seed in the pinecone. The fire and the pine tree are partners, balancing the survival of the pine tree species and forest overpopulation.

The partnership of nature is a model for us. But how can we embody this when we still have to pay for a cup of coffee? Have you been on the receiving end of a free cup of coffee from a stranger? Didn't it make your day? That feeling of appreciation, that vibration ripples outward and benefits all of us.

Let’s take a cue from nature – step outside for some fresh air and appreciate the interdependence that happens without judgement. Nature sets an example for us – when we give freely we receive freely.
